Returns and Warranty Policy

At Oceans Optics, your happiness means the world to us! We’re all about making your underwater adventures amazing, and we’re here to help if something isn’t quite right.

1. 30-Day Return Window from Delivery

You have 30 days from the date your order arrives to return or exchange an item. To qualify for a return, your item should be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you got it.

2. Defective or Incorrect Items

Oops, did something go wrong? If you receive a defective or incorrect item, email us right away at info@oceanoptics.com. We’ll make it right by arranging a replacement or a full refund, and we’ll even cover the return shipping costs.

3. Change of Mind Returns

Changed your mind? No worries, we’ve got you covered! That said, we’re super passionate about reducing waste and promoting sustainability, so we encourage you to pick carefully and avoid ordering if you’re unsure.

If you do decide to return something, here’s the scoop:

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns, but don’t worry, we’ll waive the restocking fee.

  • Delivery Timing: If your item arrived on time but not as early as you hoped, return shipping costs will still be your responsibility.

  • Holiday & Trip Timing: Returns are not eligible if the mask arrived within our expected delivery timeframe (up to 14 days) ±5 days but didn’t reach you in time for your holiday or trip. Please place your order with plenty of time before travel.

4. Sizing and Prescription Accuracy

We want you to love your mask and lenses on the first try! Because we’re committed to sustainability, we recommend taking a moment to:

If you accidentally order the wrong size, fit, or prescription, or just change your mind, you might need to cover the return shipping costs. Let’s make sure we get it right the first time!

5. Warranty Information

All our products come with a standard warranty against manufacturing defects. If something goes wrong with your item during the warranty period, reach out to us, we’re here to help!

6. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  • Contact Us: Email our friendly team at info@oceansoptics.com with your order number and details about the item you want to return or exchange.

  • Get Instructions: We’ll send you clear, step-by-step instructions on what to do next.

  • Prepare the Item: Pack it up securely in its original packaging, along with all accessories, manuals, and paperwork.

  • Ship It Back: Use a trackable shipping method to send it our way. If the return is because of a defect or error on our end, we’ll provide you with a prepaid shipping label.

7. Refunds and Processing

  • Inspection: Once we get your return, we’ll check it out and let you know if your refund has been approved.

  • Refund Method: Approved refunds will go back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

  • Exchanges: If you’ve asked for an exchange, we’ll ship the new item as soon as we’ve processed your return.

8. Exceptions and Exclusions

  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error may only qualify for a partial refund or no refund at all.

  • Customized masks with different strengths in each eye are non-returnable because they’re made just for you! If you have any doubts about your prescription, feel free to reach out before ordering.

  • Free gift items, sale items, and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Returns requested after the 30-day window will not be accepted.

9. International Returns

For orders outside the U.S., return shipping costs, duties, and taxes are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective or we made a mistake.
